Why Artists Choose Forbidden Frosting
You spend hours creating your artwork. Your texture paste shouldn't ruin it while drying.
Forbidden Frosting was created for artists who want thick, sculpted texture that:
- doesn't crack as it dries
- stays smooth and workable

FAQs
Will it crack?
No. Forbidden Frosting is formulated to be 100% crack-free, even in thicker applications. We created it specifically for sculpted textured art, so you can build up your texture without worrying about cracking as it cures.
Can I mix it with acrylic paint?
Yes! Forbidden Frosting has a white base and can be mixed with acrylic paint to create your desired colour. Simply add your acrylic colour and mix it through with a palette knife. You can also add titanium white acrylic paint to lighten the colour and create a thinner consistency.
How much texture can I create with it?
As much as your creativity allows! Forbidden Frosting is designed for both fine details and thick, sculpted 3D texture. It has a smooth, buttery consistency that can be worked into everything from delicate petals to bold, raised designs. TAOMI specifically states that it is designed to hold fine, sculpted 3D texture, including in thicker applications.
Is 1L enough for beginners?
Absolutely. The 1L is a great starting point if you're new to textured art or trying Forbidden Frosting for the first time. It gives you plenty of product to practise different techniques and create your own pieces without committing to the larger 4L size.
If you're already creating regularly, taking commissions or running workshops, the 4L is better suited to higher-volume use.
How long does it last?
For best results and paste consistency, use within 1 year of purchase unopened and within 6 months once opened.
How should I store it?
Keep it tightly sealed in a cool place below 30°C and avoid temperatures above 35°C.
Is 4L better value?
If you use Forbidden Frosting regularly, yes.
Choose 1L if you're trying Forbidden Frosting for the first time or create occasionally.
Choose 4L if you create regularly, make commissions, run workshops or simply don't want to keep restocking.
